Integration
Data collected by ZENmetrics™ can be output in flat file format allowing integration approaches that do not depend on nor require a database, such as importing data into an Excel spreadsheet.
For extensive integration and analysis a database service is recommended. ZENmetrics™ can accommodate multiple databases and integrate with a variety of business information systems.
Using open standards, persistent data stores and task scheduling a variety of solutions can be built:
- a custom database query could be exposed as an RSS feed
- a more complex solution might entail data streamed to a message queue for parsing by a separate application responsible for sending automated XML messages based on the data collected by ZENmetrics™ to a remote business process service on your network.
Data collection can be adjusted according to the requirements of your application, environment and business requirements.
Using ZENmetrics™ inbuilt task scheduling interface, or via the Raptor API, you are in control of the tasks, parameters, scope, interval and frequency of data collection.
